For those whose lives have been affected by a brain injury you understand the obstacles, the heartache, the confusion and grief that accompany your recovery. If you are a caregiver for someone who has suffered a brain injury, your appreciation has grown for normal life, day-to-day success and the gift of healing.
If the struggle were the end of the story, we wouldn’t have a need open our doors at the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah. Thanks to generous donations, public grants, corporate sponsors and private contributors we keep our services available at no cost to thousands of Utahns who have experienced a traumatic brain injury.
Every year for the past 24 years, we have celebrated the accomplishment of crossing the finish line of a difficult task, of putting one foot in front of the other, of supporting and cheering on the most vulnerable among us through our Run, Walk and Roll 5K! This year we want to break new records! Will you be one of 600 racers on May 19th?
Coming to this special event shows your support of a loved one or colleague who has experienced a brain injury. Signing up to participate signals your commitment to improving, despite the worst possible injury. Lacing up your running shoes indicates your willingness to keep on going, pushing forward, and striving for healing and health.
