COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Will Temporarily Affect BIAU Functioning

Due to growing concerns regarding COVID-19, the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah (BIAU) will be following the example of many other organizations and will be altering the way we serve the community. For the foreseeable future, BIAU business will primarily be conducted over the phone and via email. If you need assistance, please call 801-709-1420 or contact us on www.biau.org. Intake, resource facilitation, and follow-up meetings will be conducted over the phone or through virtual meetings (Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts, etc). For specific information about support groups, please contact support group leaders.

The BIAU is preparing a variety of contingency plans regarding our 2020 events. We will announce changes to our event schedule at the appropriate time and will remain flexible as events warrant, hoping to resume normal operations as soon as possible.

Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our clients, employees, and colleagues. The BIAU will continue to undertake the precautions and best practices recommended by the CDC and public health experts. We send our best wishes to the communities and individuals that have been impacted by coronavirus.
