BIAU Partners Up to Educate Legal Professionals at Local Conference

The Brain Injury Alliance of Utah, in partnership with the Utah Association of Justice, was pleased to co-host and co-sponsor the biennial 2016 Brain Injury Conference held on February 26, 2016 at the Law & Justice Center in Salt Lake City. Featured topics included aspects of brain injury relative to the legal profession.

Glenn Lanham, Executive Director for the BIAU, was joined by Gordon Swensen and Jolene Wyler of the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation in presenting a panel discussion entitled “Fixing the Fractures: Knowing the TBI Players in Your Community.” Dr. Alina Fong, BIAU Board member, gave the morning keynote presentation, “Tracking Longitudinal Change in MTBI Using Functional Neurocognitive Imaging (FNCI): Clinical Efficacy and Validity of FNCI.” Long-standing BIAU Board Member Edward B. Havas, Esq. of Dewsnup, King & Olsen served as Co-Chair of the event, which also featured presentations by former BIAU Board member Dr. Erin Bigler.
